The opportunity

The Senior R&D Fellow will play a strategic role in the development of UAL academic Research and Knowledge Exchange (KE) funding bid activities.  The Senior R&D Fellow will work with the Director, and Associate Director of Partnerships and Business Development of the UAL Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute (FTTI).  This academic post will be seconded to the newly established Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute, while aligned to the  UAL Research Management Administration (RMA), and as part of the RMA office. The post holder will also work in collaboration with HEI, business and innovation partners, and teams.

About you

The post holder will have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field or industry. They will have expertise and track record of developing successful high value research funding proposals across a range of disciplines, and will be conversant with the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF). They will also have experience of successfully working across a range of academic expertise, and across UKRI and EU funding provision.
