The opportunity

You will be part of a technical team supporting photography students and academics across the college, providing guidance and advice, delivering inductions and workshops in darkroom and film processes, studio use and camera and lighting techniques, ensuring students adhere to H&S and best practice. The role also encompasses the maintenance of facilities and equipment. 

About you

You will have an art school or photography background with an understanding of educational delivery, the ability to provide expertise and guidance across the range of photographic disciplines both analogue and digital, and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure students and academics are able to achieve intended learning outcomes through the execution of work.  We are looking for a creative, self-motivated person who can also contribute to the strategic technological development of the department.
