The opportunity

In this unique role you will provide professional technical expertise, guidance and advice in the Film & Video Studio, related facilities and Theatre. You will also contribute to the delivery of academic learning activities within Wimbledon College of Arts. Key to this role will be your ability to provide technical input in order to help students reach their creative intentions. As specialist technician, you will provide support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction. You will help students develop a proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology related to the use of film and video within fine art and theatre practice.  

About you

With a BA or First degree in art and design, theatre or digital technologies, you will have an in depth knowledge of your specialist area. You will have experience in conveying information of a complex, conceptual and specialist nature and adapting communication and media to suit the audience. You will be a creative and motivated individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team.
