The opportunity

You will be part of the busy College Loan Store team issuing photographic, video, audio-visual and related equipment to students and staff. You should be able to recognize the appropriate equipment for students’ needs and offer advice as necessary. Key to this position is the ability to monitor and track loans using the online booking software and attention to detail when issuing or receiving returning equipment for defects and completeness. It would also be advantageous if you were technically minded with a facility to learn new software quickly. You will also be jointly responsible for the storage and maintenance of loan store equipment.

You will not only bring key skills with you but will have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops. This post is largely a flexible role and you will work to a structured roster over the course of the year.

About you

A first degree in audio-visual related field or in art and design, we are looking for a self-motivated, well-organised person, who is able to remain calm under pressure. You should be familiar with the operation of photographic, video and audio equipment. Ideally you will have experience working in front line service delivery and working effectively as part of a team.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.

If you have any queries about this role please contact CSM Staffing Team via email jobenquiries@csm.arts.ac.uk or telephone 0207 514 7879.
