The opportunity
Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.
You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

About you
We are looking for a permanent part time Lecturer to teach design methods and UX principles for our MA User Experience Design. This is a practice-led course which seeks to develop and foster critical creative practice in the field of UX Design, a rapid growing and changing design discipline. The course is structured around a series of industry collaborations, part of your job will be to manage these and ensure an enriching and rewarding student experience.
The ideal candidates will have worked or are currently working in user centred design, interaction design, or user experience design and related creative industries. You will have good industry connections of your own and be willing to bring your varied experiences to the role. You will have a good understanding of the complete UX production process and be proficient in and willing to teach industry practices and methods of design development. The role requires seminar teaching and delivery of technical workshops, and also the marking and assessing of coursework. Experience of working with HE students and enhancing the student experience is highly desirable.
