What we offer

We are UAL

MAKE at the Story Garden will be a versatile community studio space for creative collaboration with and by the community, bringing together the skills and talents of those who live and work in the Somers Town and Camden area to address local issues and social challenges that will have an impact beyond King’s Cross and the life span of the temporary space.

The project aims to use the methods and practices of the art school (and particularly those pioneered through the Public Collaboration Lab) to create a space in which communities, higher education, the public, third sector and businesses can collaborate together on social challenges through courses, projects and workshops.

MAKE at the Story Garden is developed and delivered by Central Saint Martins and Somers Town Community Association, in partnership with Camden Council and Lendlease. The project is situated within The Story Garden, Global Generation’s newest meanwhile garden, built for and by the local community.
