The opportunity

Following a period of change and growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Project Manager to join the University, driving the delivery of the strategic people priorities.

As HR Project Manager, you will be required to lead and deliver the people elements of a number projects for Academic Enterprise (AE), the Universities enterprise driven income operation. Working in partnership with the wider HR team and the Director of Academic Enterprise, the HR Project Manager will work on the commercialisations of a number of operations focusing on: Organisational Development, Employee Engagement, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Reward and Employment Policy design to support business growth in trading operations within UAL and two subsidiaries: UAL Short Courses Ltd and UAL ArtsTemps Ltd. The post holder will also support the development of effective project governance and ensure it is applied consistently.

Working collaboratively with the wider HR team, you may from also be deployed to work across other projects to support delivery.

About you

You will bring experience of supporting projects of all sizes and have worked in a large matrix structure, specifically working in a multi-layered HR team.
You will have significant experience of working with wholly owned subsidiary companies. Good working knowledge of TUPE legislation is essential and an understanding of the
regulatory environment for employment businesses and employment agencies is desirable. You will be able to adapt your communication effectively to reach a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way, and understand the importance of doing so sensitively.
