The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work at London College of Fashion, providing administrative, information and events support to the LCF Research Department. You will support the LCF Research Team in coordinating the organisation of internal and external events, creating digital content and internal communications and will work closely with LCF and UAL Internal External Relation teams. You will maintain and analyse data relating to Research events and communications, and will provide customer focused service to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting the various administrative tasks of the Research Team. The ideal candidate will also support the delivery of the PhD student journey from application to award by assisting with the various administrative tasks in an organised and timely manner.

About you

You will have significant experience of working in an administrative role in a Higher Education setting, supporting academics and, in particular, research interests. You will have experience in planning and overseeing events (internal and external facing), and have excellent communication skills and experience of creating copy for internal and external media (newsletters, web, social media). All of this balanced with strong administrative aptitude, which includes great organisational, budgetary, communication and IT skills.

You will have significant experience of collating and maintaining information, databases and spreadsheets, be fully versed in Microsoft Office, and will hold a relevant degree (or equivalent experience).
