The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic marketer to build on existing experience and knowledge of digital and traditional marketing techniques to undertake the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns for student recruitment across UAL's domestic and international markets.

You will have experience in developing and implementing multi-channel operational marketing plans to support the achievement of customer acquisition and/or prospective student recruitment. In addition, you will have experience of using market insights and data to inform the development of effective and engaging campaigns, along with the ability to monitor, interpret and report on metrics for campaign evaluation.

Working collaboratively across the Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions department, UAL Colleges and other business units, you will play a key role in achieving a first-class student experience from enquiry through to enrolment. You will work to promote the delivery of high levels of customer service and the use of appropriate technologies, systems and processes to convert prospective enquirers to applicants and enrolments.

About you

You will be educated to degree level or above, with substantial experience working in a marketing role (within higher education is desirable) requiring knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing principles and techniques. You will also have an understanding of marketing practices and theories, with areas of specialism in the fields of digital marketing, market research and CRM.

You will have practical experience developing and implementing operational multi-channel marketing plans for direct customer acquisition and/or student recruitment and experience of creating marketing collateral and content assets that support these campaigns. Experience of implementing brand guidelines is also essential in the role.

You will have experience of using website Content Management Systems (CMS) and knowledge of practices for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Demonstrating the performance and effectiveness of campaign activity is key, and you will have the ability to monitor, interpret and report on data and metrics for marketing campaign evaluation.

The role also demands exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of collaboration and building effective internal working relationships across different levels of seniority and functions. You will have a proven ability to work independently without direct supervision, and be able to demonstrate initiative and creativity to resolve problems.
