The opportunity

Assistant Finance Business Partner (KE) is a diverse role that provides comprehensive finance support and a high level of customer service to external and internal stakeholders.

This post is part of the KE Central Finance team which supports the various business units that make up Knowledge Exchange (KE), such as Colleges’ Business & Innovation (B&I) and Central KE teams. The main aim of this role is to deliver an effective business partnering and financial management service to KE projects across the University, working closely with the colleagues within the immediate team and the wider KE community.

While based in KE Central Finance, the post holder will also be the main point of contact for EU Research Projects and will deliver efficient finance administration and project monitoring, as well as provide timely and up to date guidance in regards of University’s procedures and policies.


 

About you

We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a successful track record in delivering a high standard of financial management and administration in the higher education sector, preferably with a good level of understanding of third stream income activities.

You will have a proactive approach to work and strong commitment to professional development, as well as effective oral and written communication skills and experience of liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to prepare relevant and timely financial information and deliver it in a clear and concise way to both finance and non-finance focused individuals.
