The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic to join UAL’s Academic Practice programme team. If you share our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, and are excited by the prospect of working with the next generation of arts educators at UAL in a social justice-oriented Academic Practice programme, we would encourage you to apply.

As Senior Lecturer in Academic Practice, you will teach across a range of core units, supporting our UAL staff-participants to reflect on, enquire into and enhance their academic practices. The role requires that you lead several classes, taking responsibility for learning, teaching and assessment whilst observing and implementing the policies and procedures of the University and the Teaching, Learning and Employability Exchange. You will also lead on the design and delivery of new continuing professional development courses.
