HR Business Partner

The opportunity

Following a period of change and growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the University in driving the delivery of strategic people priorities.

The HR Business Partner will be required to lead business partnering work with a specific client group in the University including supporting the leadership and management of the people management agenda with those groups.  In carrying out their work the HR Business Partner will be part of the business partnering team and will work under the overall direction of the Associate Director of HR (Business Partnering).

As an expert HR professional you will adopt an agile approach in teams and thrive for the best not only in deploying the long term People Strategy, but also developing relationships and influencing decision making to support long term financial sustainability. 

The main location for this role will be based at Elephant & Castle with frequent travel to High Holborn and other UAL sites, as required.

About you

You will bring experience of supporting organisations through all HR and business planning cycles. You will be able to support clients on organisational and people capability building, longer term resource and talent management planning, using business insights to drive change in people management practices and be able to lead and advise on the people implications of organisation change. You will work with the other HR Business Partners and as part of a team whilst maintaining the essential presence and authority within your client group.
