The opportunity

Following a period of change and growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for two experienced Senior HR Business Partners to join the University in driving the delivery of strategic people priorities.

The Senior HR Business Partner will lead, inspire, coach and work in collaboration with the wider HR team, to successfully deliver an exceptional HR service to employees and management teams across the University. The post holder will be required to lead business partnering work with one of our two largest and most complex client groups, Operations and External Affairs (OEA) or Academic Development and Services (ADS). They must be able to support multiple Directors and senior management teams and offer advice, coaching and support to less experienced colleagues. The Senior HR Business Partner will work under the overall direction of the Associate Director of HR (Business Partnering).

As an expert HR professional you will adopt an agile approach in teams and thrive for the best not only in deploying the long term People Strategy, but also developing relationships and influencing decision making to support long term financial sustainability.

About you

You will bring significant experience of supporting organisations through all HR and business planning cycles. You will be able to support clients on organisational and people capability building, longer term resource and talent management planning; using business insights to drive change in people management practices and be able to lead and advise on the people implications of organisational change.

As an experienced and established business partner you will work with other HR Business Partners and as part of a team, whilst maintaining the essential presence and authority within your client group.

University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
