The opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work collaboratively with academic colleagues across Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts to support development of funded innovation and knowledge exchange projects linked to the UK Government’s research and innovation investment priorities.
The role will specifically support the development and management of innovation-focused activities (including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and contract research) by working pro-actively to develop new external partnerships through discussions with academic staff and professional networking with businesses, universities and funders.
About you
Educated to degree level, you ideally have a track record in developing and managing collaborative multi-partner innovation and business growth projects between academia and industry, as well as experience of accessing and managing a range of funding to support higher education research, innovation and knowledge exchange projects. Current knowledge of creative sector disciplines particularly those relating to circular economies and technology innovation for the creative industries is essential.
You can communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, and understand how to construct an effective business case for investment. You also demonstrate a proven ability to plan, co-ordinate and review work, effort, and resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and delivery of goals.
