The opportunity

The Fashion & Technology – Emerging Futures (FTEF) project is a £5.3 million initiative sponsored by London College of Fashion in partnership with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is delivered through the CFE, and delivers business support to SMEs in the fashion and fashion tech sector. It capitalises on the new fashion + tech eco-system emerging in London to drive growth through greater cross sector collaboration and to develop innovative products and services.


As part of the project team within the Centre for Fashion Enterprise this role is key to its success. You will manage the planning, monitoring and reporting of the finances and outputs to ensure the compliance with funding regulations. You will support the project delivery team, other LCF colleagues and external project partners to ensure appropriate record keeping for all activities. You will also liaise closely with external ERDF funding contacts (monitors and auditors) for the project and be the point of contact with University procurement and finance departments.

About you

An innovative, solution focused, thinker motivated to deliver results, you will hold a First degree or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience that demonstrates your high level literacy, numeracy and analytical skills. You will already have been involved in the successful delivery of an ERDF or similar project, facilitating and monitoring match funding, collating and recording time sheets. You will have undertaken project and workflow management, budget monitoring & management, financial reporting in a customer facing, service oriented environment.


You will also have ERDF or similar project monitoring, reporting and audit procedures experience, and knowledge of PRINCE 2 or similar, purchase ledger/ sales ledger and Agresso/Unit 4 accounting system or similar. You will be a proficient author of reports, the analysis and reconciliation of income and expenditure against set budgets and an experienced user of Microsoft packages including EXCEL to an advanced level.
