The opportunity
You will provide administrative support to the Student Support & Progression Project which aims to improve student retention and continuation on courses. This will involve: setting up, maintaining & reporting on systems that support students’ progression on courses; coordinating workflows, meetings and communications around the project; working closely with academic course teams and administrative teams at a cross-college level. You will organise and clerk Project Board Meetings, as well as other events related to the project.
About you
You will be educated to undergraduate degree level and have experience of providing administrative support to a team, preferably in an academic environment. You will have skills in a wide range of IT platforms including Excel, databases and social media. You will have experience of handling, maintaining and presenting data, ensuring that this work is complaint with General Data Protection Regulations and you deal sensitively with such data. You will have skills in communicating to different groups of stakeholders across an organisation and in organising meetings and events.
