Senior Lecturer in Fashion Business Research Methods

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator in research methods in Retail/Marketing/Branding to play a key role championing appropriate research design and methods across the Fashion Business School at London College of Fashion.
Research at London College of Fashion thrives within a unique specialist and transdisciplinary environment and is supported and resourced by dedicated research facilities. In this role, you will ensure consistent high-quality research outputs from students across the following courses:
MA: Strategic Fashion Marketing
MA: Fashion Design Management
MA: Global Fashion Retail
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and delivering high quality teaching for students undertaking research projects
- Leading appropriate research proposal units across courses, managing the content and delivery, assessment, tutorials, presentations and associated administration
- Providing appropriate support/guidance/mentorship where necessary to students
- Leading the continuous development of appropriate curriculum material and assessment procedures relevant to the field of research design
- Providing support, mentorship and guidance to staff/staff teams and to design and conduct staff training in the field of research design

A post graduate degree in Marketing or a related discipline is essential, as is a teaching qualification and extensive experience as a research methods educator in Retail/ Marketing/Branding at HE Level 7.
You will also need experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment with evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice.
