The opportunity

The purpose of this role is to develop and manage a portfolio of primarily income-generating digital innovation and technology partnerships for Central Saint Martins linked to the university’s Knowledge Exchange Strategy. The role will actively stimulate partnerships, collaborations and projects within this area, driving business development and increased profile for the college across programmatic areas. Further to this, the role will also provide expert project and programme management to key digital innovation initiatives across the college as required. An example of this might include management of the flagship Digital Innovation Season programme (See an overview of previous seasons here: https://www.arts.ac.uk/colleges/central-saint-martins/whats-on-at-csm/events-archive/digital-innovation-season-2022)

About the team:

This role will work within the CSM Innovation Team to harness the potential and programming that is already in place at the college, while stimulating a pipeline of new business and partnership development linked to digital innovation initiatives and projects.

About you

You will have a strong track record of building and implementing partnership programmes, ideally within the digital technology space. You will have subject-specific knowledge and be able to quickly bring together information from academic colleagues, external sources and broader team members to create a compelling Digital Innovation offer for the college. You will have an academic grounding with some experience of higher education partnerships, and ideally have already been working with technology companies through your prior roles.

You will be comfortable working to define and develop a business area that draws together input from a large number of stakeholders, building on previous research and experience from within the CSM Innovation team. The profile will also suit someone highly organised, with strong project and programme management experience. Finally, we require the individual to have strong communication and influencing skills, in a business development context.
