The opportunity

We have created a virtual communications team, with representatives in each college or service working with a central team, to deliver joined-up, comprehensive communications to staff, students and external stakeholders.

We are now looking to recruit two new Communications Executives to join our team, who will focus on cross-UAL communications including to an external audience.

These roles sits within the Communications and External Affairs department, which works across the university. Our dynamic virtual team delivers coordinated, comprehensive internal and external communications plus staff/student engagement both locally within colleges and services and across the business.

The post holders will work within the busy UAL press office and have particular responsibility for leading on communications relating to a series of research projects, international initiatives and thought leadership pieces. They will also help to create a strategic framework around communications in these key areas.

Both roles will work within our virtual team and with colleagues across the wider university to deliver and maintain effective communications through a variety of channels. They will tell compelling stories, provide timely information and promote college and university-wide initiatives. The communications team is responsible for ensuring that all these stories are joined up and that they maximise engagement from staff, students and the outside world.
