We have been nurturing creative talent for over a century, offering courses in all things fashion.  Within each college there is a commercial unit, UAL Short Courses Ltd, which provides short courses, customised training and study abroad programmes.  It aims to be the global leader in delivering exceptional training experiences across all UAL subject areas, to generate income and introduce prospective students to the UAL community.

The Role:

To develop and deliver an effective marketing programme to drive sales for the income generating short course business at London College Fashion. To take responsibility for the content on the website, which is the core sales & marketing tool, and its interface with the on-line booking systems.  To ensure that the look and feel of all communications, including digital, fit within the brand guidelines and are delivered within strict budget parameters.  To manage the customer service team and all direct inbound sales.  To input into the marketing plans, and wider marketing strategies, across the Academic Enterprise division, within UAL.

About you

You’re at your happiest when you’re working in a lively, fast paced environment and using your excellent communication and marketing skills to drive the business.  As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be managing all our branding and communications at LCF Short Courses.  We deliver specialist courses directly to the public, so you need to be comfortable in a customer focussed environment.  You will support your team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times and ensure all sales are optimised.

You have a keen eye for detail, you’re extremely organised and a creative problem solver. You are great at managing teams across marketing and sales. You can deal with large campaigns but also small details like ensuring the website copy is constantly updated.  You take the initiative to try new marketing campaigns and partnerships, and as an ideas person you contribute to the business instinctively. You understand the importance of the complete user journey and the systems and processes needed to ensure a fluid customer experience.
