The opportunity
This post will provide support for the Director of Academic Enterprise (AE), the central AE management team and the AE Co-ordinator by providing administrative back-up for the day to day work of the Director of AE, the Director of Knowledge Exchange and Associate Director Business Operations/General Manager UAL Short Courses Ltd. This will include managing their diaries; co-ordinating and minuting cross-departmental meetings and supporting them with other matters as they arise. You will also support the implementation of the Enterprise Strategy and Plan, various policies and projects. You will work with the AE Co-ordinator on staff development events and awaydays, and the AE Communications Co-ordinator on collating and collecting information to support internal and external communications.
About you
You will have a first degree in a humanities subject with effective oral and written communication skills and also in communicating using visual media. You will have an interest in the arts and the creative industries and administrative experience in a busy client-facing environment including diary management and co-ordinating activities undertaken by a team. You are able to plan and prioritise your own work and work collaboratively with a team scattered across the University.
