The opportunity
We are looking to recruit a practitioner with professional, production management skills and experience in the industry, as a Lecturer in Production Management for the Film and Television Programme at LCC.
Within the programme there are six vibrant courses delivering drama and/or documentary/factual productions. These are onsite and on location. We are looking for a practitioner to teach environmentally sustainable production management and to champion Diversity Standards within the student productions.

Requirements of the role:
- Professional, industry skills and experience of the production management role
- Plans and manages schedules and resources effectively through constructive problem-solving to achieve objectives
- Collaborates effectively and respectfully within teams and across different professional roles
- Champions industry Diversity Standards (e.g. BFI contractual standards) promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in the teaching, delivery, and assessment of productions
- Promotes actions for environmentally sustainable production (e.g. albert educational membership)
- Advises on industry COVID safe-working practices
- Shows commitment and support in understanding the range of students’ experiences
- Motivates a diverse student body to think strategically, practically and guide them towards a professional career
- Evidence of professional contacts to develop partnerships or collaboration
- Evidence of professional practice that would contribute to the advancement of production practices relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University
- Significant, relevant industry experience or qualification
