The opportunity

In this key role you will be responsible for the academic leadership and day to day management of the BA (Hons) Visual Merchandising and Branding course, including all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students as well as resource allocation.

In addition you will contribute to, and where appropriate lead on the process of course development, minor modifications, major changes, validation and review in liaison with relevant Fashion Business School senior management.

About you

You will have experience of supporting students to fulfill their academic potential within Higher Education and/or Further Education. You will also have a knowledge of inclusive practices which recognise the diversity of the student population at the University. In addition to a teaching qualification and a degree-level education, you will have experience in arts education or in the fashion, business, media and design industries as a practitioner. Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential, along with an enthusiastic and supportive approach that will inspire students to succeed to the best of their abilities in both group and one-to-one settings.
