The opportunity

London College of Fashion has an opportunity for an academic with both teaching and student recruitment experience to play a pivotal role in shaping future creative professionals and the future of so many creative industries.

The role is to oversee the process of academic offers to students across the School of Design and Technology ensuring the process is delivered efficiently whilst providing a positive applicant experience at all times.

The College Admissions Tutor will provide academic oversight throughout the offer process. You will liaise with course teams as appropriate, ensuring that academic decision-making is effective and that sufficient academic offers to meet targets for subject areas/Schools/courses are made.

Working alongside admissions, you will also be responsible for ensuring unsuccessful applicants are referred across Colleges effectively and academic decisions are made by the appropriate course to meet the needs of the student.

You will also undertake teaching duties as appropriate to the requirements of the School and consistent with your areas of expertise.

About you

We are looking for an academic with demonstrable records of successful experience in student recruitment or admissions in the HE sector, with teaching and learning experience. Specifically, we are also looking for demonstrable experience of one or more of the following areas of teaching expertise; fashion design and technology, footwear, accessories, jewellery, print, embroidery and knit, pattern cutting or tailoring.
