The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme and Project Manager to be at the forefront of our ambitious ‘Creating New Histories’ five-year strategy.

Over the last year Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon colleges have undertaken extensive reviews resulting in the development of new College visions and the publication of the ‘Creating New Histories’ five-year strategy. Following the launch of the strategy, we are driving forward an ambitious agenda which includes developing our academic portfolio; confirming the nature of our physical footprint and use of space across the colleges; and determining our optimum academic, technical and professional and administrative staffing models.

As Programme and Projects Manager, you will play a key role at the heart of these developments. You will work closely with members of the Colleges’ Executive team, providing your comprehensive programme and project management skills and expertise to help deliver a number of interrelated projects in alignment with the strategy and annual operating plans.

You will coordinate these projects, manage and monitor risks and issues, develop plans and report on progress whilst taking swift action when needed to ensure the project stays on track.

About you

Significant project and programme management experience within an organisational change environment is essential along with demonstrable experience in all phases of the project management lifecycle.

You will also need to be able to combine personal and technical project management techniques and tools to achieve desired programme and project objectives, engage people and manage relationships.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.

If you have any queries about this role that are not covered in the available documentation, please contact Adrienne Marsh, Staffing Administrator, email jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk
