The opportunity

In this key role, you will be responsible for the academic leadership of the MA Fashion Cultures: History and Culture course, including the day to day management of staff and all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students in addition to the management of the allocated resources for the course. You will contribute to, and where appropriate, lead on the process of course development, modifications, major changes, validation and review by the University, external agencies and professional bodies with the Programme Director, Associate Dean and Dean of School.

The postgraduate course prepares students to take up key roles in industry and for further study in the areas of fashion studies, fashion media, fashion communication and cultural studies. It provides students with the skills and knowledge to communicate their ideas for the contemporary landscape within an historical framework and underpinned by theory. Students on the course engage with fashion communicated across a range of spaces including print, digital, and live experiences.
