The opportunity

This is your chance to build on our reputation, providing academic, strategic and operational leadership for the College.  As Associate Dean, you’ll be the academic lead for Knowledge Exchange, Enterprise, External Activities and International Development in alignment with College and UAL strategies. This is a new and varied role where you will lead strategically, manage and support the development of Knowledge Exchange activities across Camberwell College of Arts, Chelsea College of Arts and Wimbledon College of Arts. You’ll also lead the development and delivery of the Colleges Knowledge Exchange strategy with a particular focus on the academic elements of the strategy as well as contribution to the UAL Knowledge Exchange strategy. 

About you

Along with a relevant postgraduate qualification and a significant record of teaching, research and/or professional practice in your subject specialism within higher education, you’re likely to be recognised as an authority in your field or specialism, with significant experience of shaping and influencing developments through your own contribution.  As part of this, you should have impressive experience of developing and supporting creative and cultural research and commercial projects with a demonstrable understanding of knowledge exchange.  A naturally talented team leader, you’ll be informed about key issues, and above all, you’ll be an impressive influencer and networker, who can support others to excel and build the essential connections that will help us build on our global reputation.
