The opportunity

If you have extensive experience in the field of fashion journalism and are excited by the prospect of nurturing Central Saint Martins’ students to become innovative, informed, responsible writers, broadcasters and digital communicators central to the industry's future, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the BA Fashion Journalism course.

As the Pathway Leader, you will deploy your specialist expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship, stimulating thought and practice that challenges the canon of fashion journalism with the aim of promoting diversity and inclusivity, climate awareness and digital innovation.

Working collaboratively within a course team, you will take responsibility for the second and final year group of undergraduate students’ pastoral support, progress and attendance and maintenance of records.

About you

Educated to degree level in fashion journalism, or an associated subject, you will be able to evidence an inquiring, innovative and reflexive approach to teaching gained within a higher education environment.

You will be required to stay abreast of research and other developments in the subject area and ensure that these developments are reflected in the curriculum and contributes to the advancement of fashion journalism activity. An understanding of fashion print as part of broader design practices will also be required.
