The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of technologists supporting students in the creative arts.
You will provide professional technical expertise, guidance and advice in the areas of VR, AR, MR and digital interactive development in the new Creative Technology Lab and Motion Graphics technical areas at London College of Communication.
You will work with a diverse range of students from across the college, including those from MA Virtual Reality, BA Virtual Reality (starting September 2019 – subject to validation), and MA Visual Effects.
Drawing upon your extensive knowledge and experience, you will support student learning in subjects such as extended reality, motion capture and immersive media, helping them to develop a broad range of increasingly essential technical skills.
About you
You will have a relevant qualification and significant knowledge and experience of immersive technologies, processes and techniques. You will work alongside technicians and academics within the college to ensure students are trained in the safe, innovative and professional use of the college’s technical resources. You will be a be a creative and motivated individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team.
