The opportunity
To manage all aspects of student welfare and safeguarding in line with UAL, Language Centre and English UK standards and best practice.
About you
Educated to degree level or equivalent with knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice, you will have previous experience of working in student welfare, specifically with international students.
You will have strong communication skills and an ability to adapt messages for a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way. You'll be able to plan and prioritise effectively to achieve objectives, work collaboratively in a team and build and maintain positive relationships with students.
English UK Certificate in Student Services Management is desirable, as is previous work in an HE context.
Working hours for this job are Monday to Friday 10.30-14.30. The post-holder will be based in High Holborn between February and May and September and December. From June to August the post will be based in Camberwell. Limited annual leave can be taken during June and August as this is a period of high student demand.
