The opportunity

Supporting colleagues in the External Relations team and the wider college this important role devises, develops, manages and delivers a range of highest-quality written and digital content that is disseminated through a range of publications, promotional material and other media delivery channels. The successful postholder works closely with colleagues on creating editorial content that articulates, celebrates and promotes CSM’s annual programme of events, initiatives and associated activities aimed at engaging key audiences, raising the profile of CSM, and enhancing our reputation in London, nationally and internationally.  

About you

CSM seeks someone with excellent writing, editorial and copywriting skills, with an in-depth knowledge of, and experience working with, printed matter (i.e. publications, catalogues, press articles and education papers), digital copy and social media. You will have experience working in journalism and/or communications, preferably with knowledge and experience of higher education and/or the creative and cultural sector. You will be able to research, draft, edit and disseminate compelling and relevant copy to a tight deadline, working in collaboration with senior colleagues at CSM and UAL, to disseminate the work of the college in London, nationally and internationally.
