A world class creative University needs an innovative, high performing IT service that can play an important part in shaping future creative professionals and industries. As part of our newly redesigned IT Services you will play a crucial role in our forward thinking, customer focused environment.
With a relevant degree (or equivalent experience), you will be an expert in your field and a point of reference for others. Your technical knowledge should cover Windows server 2008 / 2012, including DNS/DHCP, PKI, Active directory, security and web-services. A strong understanding of VMWare infrastructure management, server storage and networking are also key to your success in this role. Experience of Dell server and storage (Compellant) would also be beneficial. Additionally any familiarity in performance analysis and capacity planning would be advantageous. You will have both written and oral communication skills to share your expertise plus up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in your specialist area. This role will have responsibilities for both reactive support and project delivery tasks relevant to the field.
