Specialist Option Leader Design for Theatre, Stage and Performance

The opportunity

Specialist Option Leader 0.6 Design for Theatre, Stage and Performance, Camberwell, Chelsea, Wimbledon Foundation Diploma Level 4.  Based at the Foundation Centre, Wilson Road, Camberwell, SE5 8LU.

As Specialist Option Leader in Design for Theatre, Stage and Performance you’ll provide team leadership for the area in the Design Pathway of the Foundation Diploma.

Along with teaching responsibilities, as Specialist Option Leader, you’ll take overall responsibility for the management of the area, including accurate timetabling, resources, the student experience, promotion of the subject and effective communication within the staff team and between staff and students.

In this role, you’ll promote the subject to foster and develop progression opportunities between Further Education and Undergraduate courses within Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges and UAL.

About you

You’ll be a leading authority in your area with the ability to lead on the technical or professional development of the subject within the University. Communicating effectively to a diverse audience in an inclusive and accessible way, you’ll be a strong leader who motivates and leads effectively, setting clear objectives and developing learning and assessment practice.
