The opportunity
The LCC Head of Finance takes overall responsibility for the College Finance Function, is a key member of the College Executive Group, and plays an important role in strategic decision-making within the College. The Head also works within the broader Finance team, both across Colleges and centrally, determining financial policy and practice, and contributing to senior decision-making across the University.
As Head of Finance at LCC you will lead and manage the college finance team to provide a professional service to a wide range of stakeholders, providing governance and training on finance and University processes as appropriate.
Day to day activities will be varied, focusing on developing relationships and working with College and UAL wide senior stakeholders on strategic financial planning, monitoring and control whilst also supporting the Finance Manager with college level operational activities.
About you
We are looking for a finance professional with significant experience in financial planning, budget setting, and partnering with senior management combined with appropriate level of technical skills. You should also be able to influence strategic thinking, by bringing financial analysis and insight to decision-making.
The successful applicant will be a driver for change, and an experienced multitasker with the ability to quickly grasp systems and processes and deliver continuous improvement across the College Finance Function. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with, and influence, a range of senior stakeholders.
