The opportunity

UAL has created a new senior post within the Estates Directorate. Reporting to the Associate Director Estates Management and Development, the Head of Campus Service takes responsibility for the leadership, management and motivation of a multi-disciplinary team of facilities services professional for the delivery of high levels of customer service on each of the UAL campuses and associated premises. Services include cleaning, caretaking, portering, security, grounds, car parking, post and transport. Waste management.

The Estates Directorate provides a number of core services across the University’s 16 academic sites including facilities management, catering and commercial services, sustainability and energy management, estate management, project management, and property developments.

About you

We are seeking an individual with proven experience of leading soft services facilities management functions across a large scale estate portfolio at both an operational and strategic level. You will have a track record of motivating and leading an in-house FM team (100+) coupled with experience in the management of outsourced soft FM services.

A strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will work with a diverse spectrum of internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, customer focused facilities provision.
