The opportunity
Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully. You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

About you
We are seeking to increase our pool of Film and Screen Associate Lecturers.
This could be the initial development of, contribution to, and/or teaching on a wide range of film and screen units including those below:
- Moving Image as an Art Form unit
Unit delivery Sept ‘19 to Feb ‘20
Provides the broad investigative analysis and contextual studies to underpin the academic core of the course. - Innovation and Storytelling
Unit delivery Feb ’20 to May 2020
The historical and contemporary contexts of how innovation has influenced storytelling and interactivity on the screen - Distinctive Voices
Unit delivery for 2nd year of new course Sept 2020 to Feb 2021
Addresses the inclusion and diversity profile, including British-Black and Asian-British screen media LGBTQA, gender and feminist issues and disability. - Interrogating the Truth
- Unit delivery for 2nd year of new course Feb 2021 – Summer 2021
An examination of the documentary form - Curation of film festival – practice
