The opportunity
Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of units or parts of units. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully. You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and the Course Leader.

About you
We seek an Associate Lecturer to teach on the recently established BA Film and Screen Studies. This innovative, interdisciplinary course has a critical and curatorial focus with integrated practice in programming for film and screen, video essays and social media. The course is entering its second year now and we are looking for someone to contribute and develop some specific units and areas in the course. The course is committed to a decolonial, anti-racist, feminist and queer curriculum.
The successful candidate will have relevant HE teaching experience, including experience of teaching online. In addition they will have expertise in 3 or more of these areas: Hollywood cinema; European and international art cinema; experimental film; feminist film history and theory; documentary; animation; digital media, contemporary screen art, virtual and augmented reality, and computer gaming.
