Graduate Enterprise Specialist (Maternity Cover)

The opportunity

The Graduate Enterprise Specialist is responsible for delivering a programme of enterprise education, funding and support for creative students and graduates across UAL, both home and international.

The post-holder will lead and deliver on enterprise projects and programmes including the Creative Enterprise Awards (seed funding), the Creative Business Accelerator, and Start-up and Innovator Visa endorsement and support.

The post-holder will line manage the Enterprise Projects Administrator, who provides administrative support for enterprise funds, awards and projects. 

The role sits within the wider Enterprise and Events team in Careers and Employability. 

About you

You will have:

• Knowledge of Enterprise Education and business start-up
• Experience of delivering enterprise education and support in an HE environment
• A background in the creative industries (desirable)
• Good presentation skills and workshop delivery
• Experience managing projects or programmes
• Degree or higher level qualification

You will be able to:

• Design, deliver and evaluate inclusive enterprise activities and opportunities
• Communicate effectively orally, in writing and/or using visual media.
• Motivate and lead staff effectively, setting clear objectives to manage performance
• Use effective teaching, learning or professional practice to support excellent teaching, pedagogy and inclusivity
• Plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve objectives on time
• Work collaboratively in a team and where appropriate across or with different professional groups.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and graduates
• Develop collaborations with internal and external stakeholders and partners
• Use your initiative or creativity to resolve problems
