Pathway Leader - BA Fashion Menswear

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious academic designer / researcher to lead the BA Fashion Menswear pathway. As Pathway Leader you will provide a highly stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the pathway and its delivery through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources.
You will develop the vision and strategic thinking of the pathway to shape the design, development and future of the BA Fashion Menswear curriculum and play a significant role in the BA Fashion course team. You will build on the international reputation of the pathway and enhance professional, academic and research partnerships to ensure that the pathway continues to anticipate the changing needs of the global fashion industry, commerce and society.
As a sophisticated and innovative Fashion menswear designer / researcher and academic, you’ll be regarded as a leading authority within your own area. You will have an in depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship of fashion education with the fashion industry, both nationally and internationally.
As an experienced, creative and highly motivated academic, with an inventive approach to the enlivenment of students’ learning experience and high aspirations for their achievement, you’ll be able to take up the challenges of enabling diverse student cohorts to explore the discipline of Fashion Menswear at Central Saint Martins, and foster new approaches to design and research. Previous experience of delivering a Fashion Menswear degree pathway is essential.
