The opportunity

This is a unique role with a dual focus. Primarily handling case work for student complaints and disciplinaries (including interviews and report writing) and acting as the College Local Information Manager - being the first point of contact for all matters pertaining to the implementation of university policies and procedures in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) - the post holder will also manage the College’s paper-based archiving, including arrangements for safe, efficient and effective off-site storage and secure disposal in accordance with University retention requirements. 

About you

We’re looking for an articulate and inquisitive individual who has the ability to exercise discretion and empathy. They will preferably have a background in Higher Education and an understanding of assessment and other student related policies. Excellent written skills are an essential requirement of the role as is the ability to write reports and take concise, accurate notes.

We are also seeking someone with an understanding and working knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation and their application in an educational setting.
