In this role, you will work collaboratively within the Cultural and Historical Studies Department at London College of Fashion, providing academic and pastoral support for students across the college. You will help to develop the curriculum, carry out assessment and support the organisation and management of Cultural and Historical Studies teaching.

You will be an active researcher or practitioner who recognises fashion as a dynamic global and transnational practice. As part of the Cultural and Historical Studies Department, you will have the opportunity to develop your research and apply it to the curriculum in critical and innovative ways.

With a relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent), you will be an experienced and inspiring educator who has taught Cultural and Historical Studies in a fashion context at Higher Education level. You will have a teacher training qualification, or the willingness to undertake one, plus experience with academic administration.

You will have a strong research profile and a commitment to developing research relevant to the critical concerns of the Cultural and Historical Studies Department and its teaching.

You will be expected to continue your research, while supporting our students and contributing to our links with industry and professional practice.
