The opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can identify and drive forward ambitious, strategic, and innovative large-scale initiatives that align with the Government’s Industrial Strategy and deliver on the University of the Arts London’s strategic priorities.  This role will involve liaising with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, at many different levels and in many different organisations, in order to develop and deliver this portfolio of high profile strategic projects.

In addition, this role will be responsible for successfully identifying and securing the financial or other resources required to deliver these projects (both capital and revenue), as well as designing and supporting effective plans for project implementation, compliance, evaluation, and communication.

About you

Educated to degree level, you have a track record in securing public funding and/or private investment to support large scale capital and revenue projects, and demonstrable experience of leading and developing effective internal and external networks and fostering collaboration. You have a strong grasp of national and regional policy relevant to this context, and ideally, you have experience of facilitating staff engagement and strategic development activities within a large organisation, preferably in the higher education or creative sector.

You can communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, and understand how to construct an effective business case for investment.  You also demonstrate a proven ability to plan, co-ordinate and review work, effort, and resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and delivery of goals.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.
