The opportunity

In this varied and interesting role, you will be part of our busy Head of College Office team, providing clerical and administrative support, principally through supporting the Executive Assistant in the effective running of the office. Your responsibilities will range from office administration and filing, greeting guests and dealing with enquiries from staff, students and the public, both face-to-face and via telephone and email, and organising hospitality for meetings, upkeep of the HoC office space ensuring it is kept tidy and organised to meet high standards at all times. 

About you

Educated to degree level or with relevant experience in a similar office environment, you are organised, efficient and personable with a keen eye for detail.  You have a high standard of written English and can create high quality documents, including presentations, by drawing on your excellent IT skills.  You will have excellent communication skills to deal with a wide selection of people and act as the first point of contact within the office.  A natural team worker, you are professional and courteous, with the ability to manage your workload, meet deadlines and work flexibly and proactively to support the Executive Assistant to the Head of College.
