The opportunity

Working in UAL’s central communications team, we are looking for an exceptional communications professional to support UAL’s online showcasing activities.

You will deliver key communications on a variety of channels to keep staff, students and the outside world informed about UAL’s online showcasing initiatives. You will develop compelling and engaging stories that increase awareness of our Graduate Showcase and Portfolio websites and promote the student projects on each of them.

About you

You will be an organised, enthusiastic and hard-working team player who has had significant experience in a similar communications role. You will be a first-class communicator who is able to cultivate great relationships with people at all levels.

You’ll be digitally savvy and have exceptional writing skills as well as excellent content creation skills. It will be a significant advantage to have experience in using film and design technology software.

You will have experience of delivering coordinated communications to a wide range of audiences. Previous experience of working in a university would be an advantage but is not essential for the right candidate. You’ll be passionate about using communications to demonstrate how the creative arts can change the world.

In return, UAL offers generous leave, an attractive salary and pension plus a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and inclusion. Relocation assistance is available.

If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Zele Akhilele, Resourcing Adviser via email at DigitalandTechnologystaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk or 020 7514 2965.
