The opportunity

We are looking for a friendly and passionate printmaker that works in traditional and emerging methods of print with a particular focus on wide format digital printing. The candidate should have knowledge and experience with file preparation, colour calibration, and printing on a variety of compatible mediums ranging from paper to acetate, canvas etc... This role would ideally collaborate between existing screen, and lithography facilities and technicians, but also create a unique digital print specialism within the print based technical resources. We would also like to invest in risograph printing processes soon so experience in this area is desirable as we would expect the candidate to lead on the delivery of this process as well.

About you

This role supports student across Fine Art and Design courses. Students are at the forefront of this job and some experience in HE teaching is desirable. We are looking for a candidate to assist with course aligned teaching for small groups as well as independent 1-1 activities.  The candidate will also manage an online presence for this resource, so a basic familiarity with online teaching tools is also a very desirable skill.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
