The opportunity

This position is based within the University’s Student Funding Service and is based in the Student Centre at 272 High Holborn.

 

The postholder will take end to end responsibility for the set-up and management of all Student Prizes, across the University, in the Fund Manager tool in SITS (the Student Record System). You will be responsible for setting up Scholarships Applications in SITS. Your day to day work will include the set-up of prize funds in SITS and the generation of payments. You will ensure that departments managing funds prizes have complete and accurate data on the distribution of funds to students, for management and decision making purposes.

 

The Student Funding Service at University of the Arts London is an integral part of Student Services, and the student journey and experience as a whole. We aim to improve the student experience by providing professional duty and expertise in areas covered by the Student Funding Service

About you


Due to the nature of the role, the postholder will be required to have SITS knowledge and experience and applications will not be taken into consideration if SITS experience cannot be demonstrated. Preferably the postholder will also have experience of setting up funds in the Fund Manager Tool in SITS.


 


You will be a methodical problem-solver with excellent communication skills, you will be thorough and have a keen eye for detail. These skills and qualities will probably have been gained within a similar administrative setting within a University or College of Higher Education, or in a similar environment.


 


You will have a good understanding of the student finance regulations, relevant application procedures and specific student finance arrangements for different categories of student funding.
