The opportunity

Painting at Wimbledon is one of 3 pathways within Fine Art. The ideal candidate for this post would have a range of prior teaching experience at HE level and be engaged in on-going research and practice related to Painting.  You will, therefore, ideally have an interest in teaching Painting as a specialism within the broader field and have an awareness of relevant discourses related to Painting. In this role you would be expected to teach and inspire students, while providing them with academic and pastoral guidance.

About you

Qualifications in teaching and painting are ideal but not essential. More important is your ability to work as part of a team; co-ordinating your efforts with other staff and creating an exceptional student experience. You will also have the opportunity to develop cross-college relationships, encouraging collaboration and connecting undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension scheme and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.

CVs submitted without a formal application form will not be accepted for consideration. If you have any queries about this role that are not covered in the documentation, please contact Christine Crouch, Staffing Administrator, email jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk or telephone 020 7514 9645.
