The opportunity

Based in the Short Course Office at Central Saint Martins in Kings Cross (with responsibility for our other Central Saint Martins sites), you will manage the delivery of our annual programme of 800+ scheduled Short Courses, Portfolio Preparation courses, Summer Study Abroad, and Free Elective Semester Programme.

To join us, you will need a proven track record of managing complex operations, a flair for logistics, and proven ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to make things happen. You will have line management experience and a genuine commitment to providing exemplary customer service.

Reporting to the Programme Development and Operations Manager, you will line manage four short course co-ordinators/administrators and two temporary roles. You will be responsible for the budgets attached to each short course, ensuring they are adhered to in order to maintain profitability.

About you

You will have a meticulous eye for detail and be able to react quickly to problems as they arise. It will be essential for you to be able to plan in the long-term for the effective running of courses, while also thriving in an environment that allows you to problem-solve on the go and re-prioritise you workload as necessary.

With excellent oral and written communication skills, you will be able to liaise effectively with your team, and also to build and maintain positive relationships with other departments using tact and diplomacy to ensure you are able to achieve the best outcomes for the smooth running of courses.

In return, the University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension, and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
