The opportunity

To equip students to become professional managers within industry, we rely on an outstanding academic team who are as imaginative, forward-thinking and visionary, as they are knowledgeable and informed; people with hands-on experience of their industry and a keen eye on the future. We are now looking to add this team by recruiting a Lecturer in Fashion Retail. Your specialism may be in marketing, strategy, operations or innovation and able to apply these disciplines to the fashion retail environment . You may also have a good grounding in research methods and be looking to sustain your own practice and research with the support of College and University research structures and participate in the School’s lively research culture.

About you

You will undertake teaching, unit management, assessment, curriculum development and research in your teaching specialism as relevant to fashion retail across our Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. This key role calls more than just expertise; we expect you to apply your research-led teaching to inspire and excite our students as future managers. A relevant postgraduate qualification is essential and a teaching qualification would be an advantage. Industry relevant fashion experience would also be an advantage.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
