The opportunity

As part of the IT Projects team, you will play a key role in understanding, documenting and redesigning the business processes and IT systems used within the university. 

You will work within programme and project teams contributing towards the analysis, design, and implementation of new solutions.  You will be carry out detailed process mapping and functional and non-functional requirements gathering with stakeholders, developing close working relationships with suppliers, and for developing testing strategies and executing test plans. 

You will form a vital part of supporting the successful embedding of change within the organisation, helping to determine the readiness levels of business users and IT support teams with regard to upcoming changes; and will create and implement necessary action plans.

About you

With a demonstrable record of workshop facilitation with a range of stakeholders; you can demonstrate successful experience of influencing changes in current practices.  You must also have experience of mapping business processes, gathering requirements, testing IT systems, and supporting the transition to new ways of working.

It is essential that you are able to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively, and can present compelling arguments both written and oral.  You will be able to work effectively within virtual teams, including technical and business stakeholders.  You can analyse new organisational requirements for IT systems and can propose a way forward.
